Tuesday 10th February 2015, 19:15 – 20:45 | Studio 11

We are delighted to welcome ballet star Edward Watson to Danceworks where he will be speaking and answering questions about his career and life. Edward is an internationally renowned dancer and is a Principal of The Royal Ballet. He has won particular acclaim for his interpretation of Principal roles in the works of Kenneth MacMillan, including Crown Prince Rudolf (Mayerling), Romeo, The Chosen One (The Rite of Spring), Woyzeck (Different Drummer) and roles in Gloria and Song of the Earth, in addition to his many other roles for The Royal Ballet.

In The Metamorphosis, Edward won huge critical and audience acclaim in the role of travelling salesman Gregor Samsa in Arthur Pita’s ROH2 production – a contemporary dance theatre adaptation based on Franz Kafka’s novella.
