Ashley Modurotolu Banjo is a street dancer, choreographer and actor. He won TV show Britain’s Got Talent with his dance group, Diversity in 2009, having won Street Dance Weekend in 2007.  Ashley’s choreography was described by judge Amanda Holden as “genius”. Born in East London in 1988, Ashley is the son of a Nigerian boxer father and an English ballerina mother, he studied science at university. Since BGT, Ashley has become a familiar and popular face on TV and on tours. He is currently a judge on the Sky 1 show Got to Dance. Diversity was also nominated in the Dance section of the final South Bank Show awards and won an award at the Pride of Britain Awards. Banjo and Diversity are considered widely to be an inspiration to young people. Banjo is an Official Ambassador of the United Dance Organisation.
