Tamara Rojo is a Spanish ballerina who has been starring withThe Kirov Ballet, La Scala Ballet, Tokyo Ballet, Ballet Nacional de Cuba, Ballet Deustsche Opera Berlin, National Ballet of China, Zurich Ballet, Lithuanian Ballet, Balletto Argentino, Scottish Ballet and Royal Ballet London. She started to dance at age 5 and became a full-time student in Royal Conservatory of Madrid at 11.

 Her outstanding technique, captivating acting skills, and brilliant artistry in a wide spectrum of classical & contemporary roles are acclaimed worldwide. When she was asked to replace Darcey Bussell to play in Giselle, she was having sprained ankle. With the minor injury and short notice, Tamara successfully gave an outstanding performance. This become a milestone, and she was offered to join The Royal Ballet as principal dancer. She was honoured with the Royal Gold Medal of Fine Arts by the King of Spain for her dedication to ballet. She is now working as Artistic Director and Principal Dancer for English National Ballet.
