Matt is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher from London, England. Specialist in partner styles, predominantly Ballroom and Latin American, Matt’s work has taken him across the world, working on a wide variety of projects. Most recently, he performed on Strictly Come Dancing (BBC) and was the ballroom coach for Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, as well as Beast Double in the upcoming feature film, Beauty and the Beast.

” I started my dance career at the tender age of 12, taking Ballroom and Latin classes in my hometown of Sidcup. I fell in love with Dancesport almost immediately, and that led to a lifelong affair. I began competing at 13, in the Junior category, winning mutliple national competitions.

As an Adult, I competed internationally, and represented Great Britain as part of a Formation team.

My compeitive career ended sadly 6 years later, when the sheer financial expense required to support a top-level dancer became too much for my family to sustain. I then took up acting, studying Drama at university, all the while taking every opportunity to perform, choreograph and teach I could.

Upon graduating from university, I immediately went back to my true passion, this time professionally, and commited myself to dancing.  My career in the last five years has taken me all across the world. I have performed in film, television and theatre. I have choreographed music videos, commercials, tv shows and movies. This year, I have some very exciting projects on the horizon.”
