Vinyasa Flow is perfect for anyone, whether they are a dancer or not, who wants to increase their flexibility, core strength, physical fitness and overall sense of calm and well-being. This class is suitable for all ages and abilities and would be especially beneficial to dancers looking for a deeper way to stretch and strengthen. The class focuses on the asanas (yoga poses) while incorporating the lyricism of dance. Building a strong core is emphasized as well. The class draws from Vinyasa flow, Astanga and Dynamic Hatha.
Denise has been studying Yoga, Ballet and Contemporary Dance in the US and UK for over 20 years. Denise graduated with a diploma in Dance from the prestigious New York City High School of Performing Arts and later received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University where she was granted the William Morris Agency Award. Denise draws on her background in dance to combine elements of ballet and yoga in her class for a harmonious balance of physical energy and grace.
